I'm sure those of you who were able to attend would agree that the 2016 BSGM one day event was a success!  We were graced with some really engaging talks and noticed some trending themes.

Of course the 100K Genome Project was high on the agenda, with informative updates from Professor Mark Caulfield and Professor Sue Hill. Restructuring and reshaping of Medical Genetics in the UK was also a feature, as well as tackling inequalities of access to genetic testing around the country.

Professor Han Brunner (pictured above) received a deluge of applause for his Carter Lecture, grappling with the issue of understanding intellectual disability.

We look forward to BSGM 2017.
